How much does a massage cost in Dubai?

What a massage actually costs in Dubai in 2026: real menu prices by duration, what drives the number up, what is included in it, and the two legitimate ways to pay less.

You arrive stiff from a week you would rather not repeat, and you leave able to turn your head properly again. That is the entire proposition, it takes an hour, and it starts at AED 550. U Spa occupies the R floor of the Donatello Hotel in Al Barsha: more than fifteen massage styles, a Moroccan bath with its own steam room, rooms built for two, and sessions where two or three therapists work on you at once. Open every day from 10:00 until 05:00.

What to book, and what each one actually does for you

Picking a treatment is easier when you know what it fixes rather than what it is called.

If one specific place hurts, book deep tissue. It reaches the layer where a desk-bound shoulder or a stubborn lower back actually lives, and you feel the difference the next morning. If you trained hard and your legs have stopped cooperating, sports massage is built around the muscle groups you loaded.

If nothing hurts in particular and everything is simply tired, take Swedish or a full body massage. This is the most requested booking we get, and for good reason: an hour of medium pressure across back, shoulders, arms, legs and feet resets the whole system rather than one corner of it.

If you want to switch your head off rather than fix a muscle, aromatherapy is the gentlest thing on the list and the one most people choose for a first visit. Hot stone is for anyone who spends the day cold under an air conditioner, which in this city is most of us. Foot massage is the fastest route back to functional after a day of walking, and Russian massage is the firmest option we offer, for people who want the back genuinely rebuilt.

And if the point is the occasion rather than the muscle, the Moroccan bath, the couples room, four hands, six hands, Lomi Lomi and the VIP treatment exist for exactly that. Not sure how often any of this is worth doing? We answered that in how often you should get a massage.

A full spa, not a treatment room

This is the part that decides what you can actually book, and it is where most places in Dubai quietly run out of room.

A hammam needs its own steam room, a scrub table and somewhere to rinse. Four and six hands need two or three trained therapists free in the same hour, every time. A couples room needs two tables far enough apart that two therapists can work without getting in each other’s way. Private rooms need showers inside them, not down a corridor. None of that fits in a single treatment room, which is why the menu at a small centre stops where ours starts.

You get the benefit of that scale in ordinary ways. You can change your mind at reception and still get what you want. You can bring someone without booking two separate visits. You can ask for a session at 01:00 and get a full team rather than whoever is left.

Every rate we charge is published, VAT already inside it, with no district pricing and nothing added at the till. The complete list lives on the price list, and if you are comparing across the city first, we wrote a straight breakdown of what a massage costs in Dubai and where the money goes.

Al Barsha, five minutes from Mall of the Emirates

The practical advantage of our address is that getting here costs you almost nothing.

We are in Al Barsha 1, on the R floor of the Donatello Hotel, about five minutes by car from Mall of the Emirates. Sharaf DG metro station is one stop away and the walk from there is short enough that guests do it in August. Parking at the hotel is free, with no validation ritual and no circling for a space, which anyone who has tried to park near a spa in Downtown on a Friday evening will recognise as a real feature.

Al Barsha also sits in a genuinely useful place: between the beach districts and the inland communities, one straight run down Sheikh Zayed Road from the Marina and another from Business Bay. That is why our guests come from across the city rather than only from the buildings next door.

Inside Al Barsha 1 we are minutes from the part of the district nearest Sharaf DG, from the hotel cluster along Al Barsha South, and from the residential streets behind the mall. Guests from the villas drive and park downstairs. Guests from the nearby hotel apartments walk over.

Open until 05:00, every day

Most spas in Dubai stop taking guests somewhere between 21:00 and 23:00. We take the last sessions well after midnight and close at 05:00, seven days a week.

That is not a detail, it is the difference between a massage tonight and a massage in theory. It works if you finish a shift at 22:00. It works if you land at DXB at 01:00 and cannot face a pillow yet. It works if the only free hour in your week is the one nobody else wants. Night sessions are staffed by the same therapists as afternoon ones and cost the same money, so choosing a late slot costs you nothing but gets you an emptier road in both directions.

The full picture, including which treatments stay available in the small hours, is on the late-night massage page.

The therapists

Our team trained in the classical European and sports massage schools, and you feel that in the first five minutes.

It is the reason deep tissue here reaches the layer it is supposed to reach instead of being a firm Swedish under another name, and the reason a sports session after a heavy week is built around the muscles you actually loaded rather than a standard sequence.

Arrive with something specific, a shoulder that has not moved properly since a job change or a lower back that complains after long drives, and say so at reception. The session gets built around it. What we will not do is promise to treat a medical condition. If something needs a doctor, it needs a doctor, and we will say so rather than sell you an hour.

Coming from another district

We are one location in Al Barsha rather than a chain, so for most of Dubai a visit means a short drive. Several districts have their own page with the route, the honest travel time and what that neighbourhood tends to book.

Dubai Marina is about fifteen minutes up Sheikh Zayed Road and books the couples room more than anywhere else. JLT is the same run and books deep tissue after DMCC hours. Barsha Heights and TECOM are closest of all at five minutes door to door, which is why that district uses the Early Bird hour most. Downtown and Business Bay arrive in the evening, once the office towers empty.

Further out, JVC, Arjan and Motor City run across Al Khail Road. Deira, Bur Dubai and Silicon Oasis are genuinely far, twenty-five minutes and up, and those pages say so plainly. If you are making that drive, ninety minutes or a bath plus a massage is the booking that repays it.

The full district list is on the massage near me page, and if you are looking specifically for a spa near Mall of the Emirates, that page has the walking route.

Two things are worth knowing before you book. Before 15:00 the Early Bird rate is the cheapest hour we sell, and mornings fill first because of it. And coming as a pair means each of you pays 20% less on the same visit, whether you share the couples room or take separate rooms.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is a massage in Dubai at U Spa?

An hour starts at AED 550 for aromatherapy, AED 600 for Swedish or full body, and AED 750 for deep tissue or sports. Before 15:00 the Early Bird rate brings a classic hour to AED 400. VAT is inside every price and the complete list is on the price page.

Where exactly are you?

R floor of the Donatello Hotel, Al Barsha 1, about five minutes from Mall of the Emirates and one metro stop from Sharaf DG. Parking at the hotel is free.

How late are you open?

Every day from 10:00 to 05:00. The last sessions start well after midnight, and night prices match daytime prices.

Do you have a hammam and a room for two?

Yes to both. The Moroccan bath has its own steam room, and the Royal version runs a full hour. The couples room takes two guests at once with two therapists.

Do I need to book ahead, or can I walk in?

Same-day booking usually works and walk-ins are often fine outside peak hours. For Friday and Saturday evenings, and for anything needing two or three therapists at once, give us a day.
